Managing money is one of the most important life skills we need, but it’s also one of the least taught. Our education system, for all its formulas and facts, often skips over the everyday art of handling finances.
But nature, as always, has a gentler way of teaching. Trees, in particular, have been quietly managing their resources for millions of years with patience, wisdom, and not a single spreadsheet. Perhaps it's time we learned a few money lessons from the forest. By the end of this post you should have a unique money map for your life.

Estimated at over 1000 years old this GIANT Ginkgo tree in China creates an annual golden spectacle. Ginkgo trees are one of the oldest living tree species and are known for their impressive lifespans.
Why they live so long: Scientists have discovered that ginkgo trees have a unique genetic makeup that allows them to resist aging and maintain their ability to defend themselves from stress, even after centuries of life.
Tree Meditation
On the topic of stress, we thought it would be wise to add a simple tree meditation in this post. We hope it helps you reduce a little stress from life and creates health and happiness for you.
Becoming A Tree:
Find an old tree to stand against. Lean on it and close your eyes. Imagine yourself as the tree. Feel your feet growing roots, deep into the earth, steady and supported. Let your spine rise like a strong trunk, your shoulders and arms softening like branches. With each breath, feel the air move within. The breath you draw in, is a gift from your tree. Inhale deeply, exhale slowly. Let your worries fall like dry leaves to the forest floor. For a few quiet moments, just stand in stillness. You don’t need to do anything. You already are.
In the heart of a forest meditation, the trees whisper wisdom, the wind carries peace, and the earth reminds you- stillness is where love begins.
